“For all the earth…” A SATURDAY THOUGHT and LECTURE!
If you haven’t yet heard my lecture commemorating 150 years since the year of Mrs Eddy’s pivotal 1866 healing, I will be giving it in Scarborough, Yorkshire, this Saturday (October 22) at 2:30pm. Or you can view it live as a webcast here at the same time (= 9:30am ET, USA).
On Sunday I will also be lecturing in York at 3pm (no webcast), and the topic will be “Prayer that transforms us!” Here is a link to the flyer if you are in the area.
Songs of deliverance! A SATURDAY THOUGHT
Here are the lyrics of “Simply Praising Him” from the album “I am holding you”.
Words and music by Susan Mack Edited/Arranged by The Solo Committee
Verse 1
When my heart is lost in sorrow,
No prayer comes to my lips.
Thereʼs a tender prayer I can always pray, Itʼs simply praising Him.
Chorus:
Praise the Creator,
Let all within me sing!
For thatʼs what I am made to do, And comfort it will bring.
Verse 2
When weariness engulfs me, Discouragement sinks in,
Thereʼs a hopeful prayer I can always pray, Simply praising Him.
Chorus
Praise the Creator,
Let all within me sing!
For thatʼs what I am made to do, And courage it will bring.
Verse 3
When my days are much too busy
To find where prayer fits in,
Thereʼs a timeless prayer I can always pray, Simply praising Him.
Chorus
Praise the Creator,
Let all within me sing!
For thatʼs what I am made to do, And stillness it will bring.
Verse 4
When earth seems satisfying,
My joys filled to the brim,
Thereʼs still a prayer I need to pray, Simply praising Him
Chorus
Praise the Creator,
Let all within me sing!
For thatʼs what I am made to do, And goodness it will bring.
For thatʼs what we are made to do, Let all the earth now sing!
