Some #MeToo healing thoughts

I’ve been grateful for several articles highlighting the spiritual strength of womanhood that we’ve been able to publish in the Christian Science Monitor’s “Christian Science perspective” column since the breaking of the Harvey Weinstein story, including pieces from some who share how they prayed through #MeToo moments. If anyone missed these articles and wants to read them, and a couple of powerful pieces from the Christian Science Sentinel, I’ve compiled a list of links to many of them.

My most recent editorial (below) is my own modest offering to this moment in time that I trust and pray will be a moment of progress for humanity out of the belief that we need to be resigned to men or women either abusing authority or being subject to its abuse.

As this week’s Christian Science Bible Lesson says, we can pray to know that: “No power can withstand divine Love.” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p.224).
