This quote got me thinking about the role of reversal in spiritual understanding. Mary Baker Eddy wrote that in the practice of Christian Science “…truth cannot be reversed, but the reverse of error is true” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures).
Taken together, do these two quotes give us a whole new way to look at the shadows in our lives?
it’s a wonderful, crucial point, that shadow implies, presupposes light.
Luke 12:3; “Whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light.”
And Science and Health p. 368: “The greatest wrong is but a supposititious opposite of the highest right.”
